Meet The Clean Plate Club:
The Clean Plate Club Truck is more than just a food truck; it’s a testament to the culinary passion of its owners, Keith and Sara. This mobile kitchen is stationed at 1170 Easton Rd. in Abington, PA, and serves the greater Philadelphia area, including Bucks County and Montgomery County, making their delicious creations accessible to a wide audience.
A Culinary Dream Come True:
The story of The Clean Plate Club Truck is one of ambition and dedication. It all began back in 2009 when Keith and Sara, both students at Johnson & Wales University, crossed paths in an elevator. Their shared passion for the culinary arts ignited a partnership that would lead them on a remarkable journey. After gaining industry experience and knowledge, they moved from Rhode Island to North Carolina and eventually settled in Philadelphia. In 2017, Keith and Sara celebrated their love for each other and their culinary dream with a food truck rodeo wedding, marking the beginning of The Clean Plate Club Truck.
Culinary Philosophy:
The Clean Plate Club Truck’s culinary philosophy is a blend of classic techniques and innovative flair. Keith and Sara, both culinary school graduates, believe in the importance of using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create exceptional dishes. Their menu changes daily to focus on seasonal, local products and reflect their location’s unique character. From local beers to fresh mushrooms and farmstand ham, they ensure that each dish showcases beautiful ingredients. You can expect a variety of culinary delights, including modern twists like molecular gastronomy techniques and the use of a smoking gun, ensuring that their food is not only delicious but also exciting and fun.
Community Engagement:
The Clean Plate Club Truck is a shining example of a local business that gives back to the community. One of the owners, Sara, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2014, which has inspired the truck to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. They regularly organize fundraisers and events, with a portion of their sales going toward the Society’s important work, contributing to the quest for a cure. This commitment to a meaningful cause reflects the heart of The Clean Plate Club Truck’s mission.
At the DoorLife Property Management, we’re proud to support and celebrate local businesses that share our commitment to community engagement and giving back. The Clean Plate Club Truck is not only a delightful culinary experience but also a beacon of hope and support for those affected by Multiple Sclerosis. Next time you’re in the greater Philadelphia area, be sure to seek out The Clean Plate Club Truck for a delicious meal that not only satisfies your taste buds but also contributes to a worthwhile cause.
